Summer Program
At Islanders Daycare we strive to provide an outstanding level of dedication, care and supervision for all the children all year around. Our children receive the utmost mental stimulation they need inside the classrooms, as well as positive nurturing interaction when they go outside to play. We believe learning opportunities can happen anywhere and at any time, and that’s why we offer our Summer Program. During Summer Semester, our students get to enjoy Theater Program, where they get to explore their imagination and creativity. At the end of the Summer Semester, students put on a play to display their acting and singing skills to our parents. We also include, Arts and Crafts Curriculum on weekly basis, where each child works with their hands to create their piece of imagination. On weekly basis our students also review what they learned throughout the year. We have also added our new feature into our Summer Program which is Poetry Class, where we read a lot and learn poems. At Islander’s Kids Learning Daycare Center, we offer two outside play-areas. Our playgrounds include kid's slides, playhouses, numerous outside toys and equipment for sports activities. With innovative water activities such as fun in the sprinklers, our kids can enjoy themselves while playing outdoors in the summer heat.
