At Islander’s Kids Learning Daycare Center, we understand that your child’s education and care is a priority and that choosing the right program is a big decision. Our early education programs and schools include world-class curriculum and knowledgeable child development professionals that meet the needs of children at every age and stage. Our program incorporates STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) into exciting, fun experiences for children.
Islander’s Kids Pre-K Program is designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-old children. Our premise is that to be successful academically in school, children need to be prepared in all five of the developmental domains that are critical to children’s overall well-being and success in reading and math as they enter school. Our Pre-K students learn through play, with the guidance of their teachers. They experiment with the properties of matter at the sand and water tables. They learn phonics when they sing songs together. They master important physics concepts like balance and stability as they build blocks at the block center. Our experienced teachers promote emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment.
