At Islander’s Kids Learning Daycare Center, our Toddler Classroom is set up as a nurturing environment that provides the structure which allows the students to grow and learn while feeling safe and comfortable. Students are given daily opportunities to explore and learn through age appropriate toys and projects. Children in the Toddler Classroom are encouraged to try to use their words to express their needs and wants. The activities in the Toddler Classroom are developed to create learning experiences and social experiences through play, projects, and activities. An ideal environment for babies and toddlers is rich in print, books and reading aloud. Our program uses hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings to help your two year old learn about his or her expanding world. Through the guidance of our early childhood development professionals, toddlers enjoy learning experiences that promote their blossoming independence and social skills, and foster self-confidence. Our experienced teachers promote emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment.
